Ruby Gloom
If you ask me which cartoon show I can relate myself to, I’d say Ruby Gloom. I saw this show on the local kids’ channel last week and I fell in love with it at first sight. I love the spooky theme it has and all of the funny weird characters. I kind of remind of the Addams Family. It’s a really cute show. Nothing scary. Promise.
One thing I like about this show is its focus in music. Ruby Gloom, the main character, loves rock’n'roll. The two-headed Siamese, Frank and Len, are rockers too. Skull Boy, who is Ruby’s crush, does everything. He DJs, jazz, drums and acts. I love all the characters. They are all very cool.

From left in front, we have Iris on guitar, Scaredy Bat on flute, Skull Boy on the cello, Poe the crow, Ruby Gloom on maracas and Doom Kitty her pet cat on the triangle. In the background, we have Frank and Len on drums, Boo Boo the ghost that looked like Casper the friendly ghost and the ever sad Misery on the harp. Yes, they are all very dramatic. I love it.
If you’re tuning in to Singapore’s local TV channel, you can catch this show every Monday to Friday at 6pm on Okto.
