Write in Cursive handwriting
I’ve always wanted to write in cursive handwriting. I’m practicing to write smoothly. I believe the western school system is teaching the students how to write in cursive handwriting. Lucky you if you’ve already known. So, the activity we’re going do is to learn how to write in cursive handwriting. The cursive I’m talking about is one that is relatable to the handwriting of the people in earlier century. Calligraphy, I mean.
Of course, it takes practice to do this but I believe it’s not that hard. The trick is to relax and allow the pen to take its course. When I first started to write cursively, it turned out atrocious. I couldn’t even read my own handwriting. I could become a doctor if I didn’t buck myself up.
If you need inspiration to write in cursive handwriting, I’d recommend you go to Dafont.com and search under Calligraphy. It has over 100 cursive fonts for you to choose from. Print out your choice of font as template and start practicing.
Take a sneak peak of my handwriting:

Edward Cullen’s handwriting:

Taken from Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer. Page 86. ISBN 0-316-03255-7.
Alice Cullen’s handwriting:

Taken from Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. Page 558. ISBN 0-316-06792-X.
I liked Alice Cullen’s handwriting because she’s my favourite character. Plus, unlike Edward’s, her handwriting is feminine and easy.
I found Jane Austen font from Dafont.com and I really liked how it turned out when I formed sentences with it. Take a look.

Start writing in cursive handwriting now and let others know how elegantly timeless you are.
